You could say wine runs in the family.
When we were kids, our Dad, who also worked in the wine business, would travel the wine regions of the world and come back with these enchanting tales of the champagne caves in France or the impossibly steep vineyard slopes in Germany.
We like to joke that when all the other kids were learning to ride their bikes, we were learning about fermentation.
Well, fast forward 20 years or so, and we've both earned our sommelier certification through CAPS. We went on to work as sommeliers and restaurant managers in Toronto, and in 2010 we decideded to open our own sommelier services and wine events agency called The Wine Sisters.
